3282Comforia Residential REIT, Inc (the "Investment Corporation") was established on June 8, 2010 as an investment corporation that invests mainly in residential properties in accordance with the "Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations" of Japan (Act No. 198 of 1951, as revised; hereinafter referred to as the "Investment Trusts Act"), with registration by the Prime Minister completed as of June 30, 2010 under Article 187 of the Investment Trusts Act (registration number: Director of Kanto Finance Bureau No. 71). Investments by the Investment Corporation commenced in August 2010. The Investment Corporation issued new investment units through a public offering on February 6, 2013 and was listed on the real estate investment trust market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (securities code: 3282). Managed assets of the Investment Corporation at the commencement of operations totaled 11 properties, acquired for a total of ¥15,508 million. As a result of additional acquisition and sale of properties under the basic policy of asset management (to manage assets with the aim of achieving stable earnings and ensuring the steady growth of our managed assets based on medium- to long-term perspectives to maximize our unitholders' value) stipulated in the Articles of Incorporation of the Investment Corporation, the portfolio (the "Acquired Assets") owned as of the end of the 27th Fiscal Period includes 160 properties, acquired for a total of ¥307,390 million.
